Every year, the College Board releases the SAT exam registration dates before the exams are conducted. The exam is conducted seven times a year in almost all countries. Here are the steps you need to follow for SAT registration:

  1. You should visit the College Board's official website, www.collegeboard.org, and click “create an account.”
  2. Next, you should select “student” if you want to pursue your higher education.
  3. Next, you will be redirected to the form page, where you provide general information such as name, gender, date of birth, email address, etc.
  4. You should also mention your personal information, such as address, city, and state.
  5. On the same page, you must add your Parents' Information, such as their names, email IDs, etc., and agree to the terms and conditions. Then click on “Next.”
  6. On the next page, check the details you mentioned on the previous page. Click on “Confirm.”
  7. In the next step, email verification will be done by sending a code to your email ID.
  8. Moving forward, create a password. You'll use this password when you sign in to your College Board account. Add a security phrase and click on “Next Step.”
  9. Add a Mobile Phone Number on the next page and click “Send verification code.” Insert the code you received and click on “verify.” Your account will be successfully created.
  10. Select "Register for SAT" from the dashboard.
  11. Get started and complete the four steps with the information asked, such as personal information, School Information, and Contact Information. Click on “Continue.” 
  12. In the following few pages, you will be asked questions about your background, general details, and future expectations. Answer them and click on “ Continue.”
  13. At the ending part, tick on the check box “ I have read, and I accept these terms and conditions” and click on “Continue.”
  14. On the next page, add test details.
  15. After selecting your test center and date, confirm your “Confirm Your Test Details.” 
  16. On the next page, “Upload Your Photo.”
  17. Check out and select Your Test Day Device.
  18. Proceed towards payment, and you will have your SAT exam booked.
